Courtney Landry

My name is Dr. Courtney Landry, and I am originally from New Iberia, LA. Before completing veterinary school, I received a Bachelor of Science from LSU in 2015. I job shadowed and worked as a technician at All Creatures for 7 years. I graduated from Ross University SVM with honors and completed my clinical rotations at Texas A&M in January 2020. After graduation, I completed a 7 month internship at one of the largest horse ranches in Texas, the 6666 Ranch. I've participated in numerous research studies involving horses at LSU SVM and corporations such as Merck Animal Health. My interests in veterinary medicine are small animal medicine and surgery as well as equine medicine. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Equine Practitioners. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my friends and family and spending time outdoors.
Chad Richard

My name is Dr. Chad Richard. I have been employed as a Veterinarian since June of 2001. I graduated from LSU-SVM. My role at Atchafalaya Animal Clinic is as a mixed animal practitioner with special interest in equine reproduction, neonatal medicine and dentistry. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, Acadiana Area Veterinary Association, American society of Theriogenology and American Association of Equine Practitioners. I have a son, Randon and daughter Avery. Aside from treating and caring for animals, I enjoy fishing and spending time with my children.
Rebecca Richard

My name is Dr. Rebecca Richard, and I am a 2014 graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. I grew up in St. Martinville and graduated from Catholic High School in New Iberia. Prior to attending veterinary school, I completed my bachelor's degree in Animal Science at LSU. My main interests in veterinary medicine include equine reproduction, ultrasonography and small animal surgery. I was awarded the Landon Hays Theriogenology Award, the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Certificate of Clinical Excellence, and the Novartis/Ethicon Companion Animal Award in 2014. I was also a member of the Merial Summer Scholars Research Program at LSU studying equine reproduction. I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and being outdoors. I shadowed at All Creatures as a student for 8 years prior to becoming a veterinarian.
Shannon Gonsoulin

My name is Shannon Gonsoulin, DVM. I am a native of New Iberia and graduated from Catholic High School class of 1985. I went on to McNeese State University and then to Louisiana State University. I graduated from LSU in 1994. I am married to Toni Gonsoulin, DVM, my former classmate from LSU. Together we purchased All Creatures in 1998 and has since grown from a 2 doctor clinic to a 5 doctor clinic. My interest include orthopedic medicine and Food Animal Medicine. I consider the success of Atchafalaya Animal Clinic due primarily in our employees. Good businesses surrounds itself with good employees.

Hi, my name is Crystal Kidder. I have been employed with Atchafalaya Animal Clinic since 2005. I am a graduate of Berwick High School and attended Young Memorial. I am married to Chris Kidder and together we have two beautiful children (Kaylee and Brendan). I also have four dogs. My hobbies include camping, boating, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and traveling places I have never been.

We have a house full of critters including: 3 dogs (Jessabelle, Nelle, Zoey), 3 cats (Watson, Jasper, Punkin), and 2 tortoises (Chewy & Cardi). My hobbies include spending time with my family, gardening, reading, and watching netflix.
